Set between flower-strewn granite walls and the towers and crenellations of one of the most historic buildings on Sark, La Seigneurie Gardens provide a tranquil haven at the heart of the island. The Victorian walled garden, considered one of the finest in Europe, shelters many plants that only survive under glass in other parts of the British Isles. There are extensive rose gardens and herbaceous beds skilfully planted to provide colour and interest throughout the year and a maze for younger visitors to explore. You might even meet our donkeys, Florence and Ruby. Discover the history of La Seigneurie and Sark's Seigneurs and Dames in our exhibition area then enjoy lunch, afternoon tea or dinner at Hathaways, our cafe and restaurant.
