Bailiwick Staycation Club and Guernsey with Kids are delighted to share with you are festive treasure hunt. Taking place from Boxing Day until 3rd January, you will find treasure boxes hidden with loot inside for trading. Each day one treasure box will contain a golden ticket which means bigger prizes for 1 lucky winner!
For the duration of the hunt Bailiwick Staycation Club’s Facebook page will provide hints and tips on where to find the loot so be sure to give us a follow so you don’t miss out!

Location details
Rousse Tower
A lovely location for walkers to explore the North western coast of the Island with a kiosk stop available. The Napoleonic loop-holed tower is unfortunately closed until April but has been wonderfully maintained complete with replica cannons. Rousse makes for a great walking route for families.
La Varde Dolmen
An impressive megalithic structure La Varde is 18 meters in diameter and has a capstone weighing over ten tons. Head to the highest point of L’Ancresse Common by seventeenth green to find it.
Bordeaux
A delightful small harbour featuring bobbing fishing boats. The beach has plenty of pebbles which this year saw islanders build pebble towers during lockdown.
Beau Sejour Playground
Lovely playground with equipment for children of all ages and a huge slide! Located behind the Beau Sejour Leisure Centre which has toilets and a café.
Jerbourg Point
The most south-eastern point of the Bailiwick with beautiful coastal walks and on a clear day you can see spectacular views across to Herm, Jethou, Sark, Breqhou and Jersey. Hotel Jerbourg has a wonderful cliff top coffee shop tempting you with delicious cakes!
Petit Bot
A charming cove on the picturesque south coast. This hidden gem is found at the foot of a wooded valley and sheltered by impressive cliffs. Look out for the waterfall and enjoy rock pooling at low tide.
Fort Pezeries
Head out west to explore this coastal defence fort which dates back to 1680, and see the three 18 pounder cannons keeping guard over Rocquaine Bay. Enjoy a safe, buggy-friendly walk with all the family out to the fort (pedestrianised road from Portelet harbour).
Delancey Park
A great selection of play equipment for children of all ages plus stunning, far-reaching views out to Herm and Sark. There is also an outdoor exercise area, paths perfect for children starting out cycling, and ramps for more experienced riders with skateboards and BMXs.
Le Guet
A magical pine forest perfect for adventurers, with beautiful views out to Cobo Bay. Discover the rope swings in the trees and climb the path to the Napoleonic watch-house, which dates back to 1780.
